Designed to offer additional postural support to the wheelchair user.

This model has the advantage of being sold in separate components.

Depending on the individual requirements of the user Model 14 can start from
a simple pelvic belt and be transformed into a full supportive harness by adding
shoulder straps and/or a groin strap as and when required.

Consequently all parts of this harness are detachable.

Pelvic Belts - Available in two different fixings:

1. 'Loop-on' style - for Manual wheelchairs.
This belt has stitched loops at each end to simply
loop onto the "tipping levers" of the chair.

2. 'Slide-fix' style - for Power chairs.
This belt is secured by a kind of "slipknot" around the
tubular metal framework by fixing securely with a slide.

 

Shoulder Straps

These simply attach or slide-fix around the handles and hang down to
be looped onto the belt at either side of the front fastening buckle.

Groin Strap

This simply slide-fixes to the chassis cross-section under
the wheelchair seat & loops over the waist belt buckle.

Model B78

If a full 5 point harness is required, then please consider Model B78
which is an upgraded version of Model 14.

The shoulder straps are sewn into a fixed position on either side of
the belt buckle for extra stabilty.

Adjusts at each side of the belt buckle for ease of use.

Fitted with the Vehicle 'Press Release' buckle as standard.
