Wheelchair Retainer belt

A very simple retaining strap designed to hold the occupant more securely
when seated in a wheelchair, single seat or scooter etc.

It consists of a length of webbing strap fitted with a buckle of your choice.

Available in two sizes for children and adults.
To fit smaller wheelchair frames for children and larger wheelchair frames for adults.

Fitting

The retainer belt can be fitted by two different methods.

1. The Slide-Loop Method.

The belt is looped around the tubular uprights of the chair frame by
threading webbing through a 3 bar plastic slide (sliplock).

2. Back Canvas/Seat Back Method.

The webbing is threaded between the frame and the backing.canvas.

Ease off the seat backing/canvas to gain access and then thread the webbing strap
through the space and into position. Then replace/rescrew the seat backing.
