Buckle Selection

Securon Vehicle Press Buckle.                                                                   

Used primarily for waistbelt buckles providing a secure but easy to use release mechanism. Whilst excellent buckles they do not have their own webbing tensioner and require the addition of a spring loaded slide adjuster where necessary.

Makefast Steel Security Buckle

Used primarily to secure waist and chest belts but also used on fixing straps. It provides a strong and secure counter-intuitive release mechanism utilizing a lifting tab to part the buckle. Excellent when attempting to prevent a wearer from operating buckle mechanisms.  Used extensively on our Challenging behaviour harnesses.

Lockmonster Side-Press Buckle

A strong and robust buckle used on wasitbelts and fixing straps to ensure a secure connection, operated by pressing the red button at the bottom of the buckle.

Side-Squeeze Buckle

This is a strong but simple side squeeze buckle similar to that found on backpacks, it is used primarily to secure waistbelts and shoulder straps but also on occasion it can be used on understraps and inner-chair straps.

These buckles are made completely of plastic and therefore used extensively on bathing harnesses.

Seasure Lever Buckle

A lesser used buckle these days, primarily used on stairlift harnesses providing a secure connection with an inbuilt tensioner and simple press button release mechanism.
