Model 13 – Rear Fastening Harness (Wheelchair Version)

A fully rear-fastening harness for wheelchairs.

It is designed for those passengers with challenging behaviour and/or learning difficulties whilst also providing postural support and assisting in seating the occupant in an upright sitting position.

The wheelchair version is fitted with three lightweight Side Squeeze buckles so it is more suitable for wheelchair use.

NB. This version is often referred to as the “Houdini” harness by our customers as it is suitable for those passengers with inquisitive fingers or potential escapologists, as all three buckles fasten behind the back of the seat.

If the occupant can reach behind the seat to undo the buckles, please choose ‘Model 13 Steel’ fitted with ‘Steel Safety Buckles’ as these are more complicated to open.

Also suitable for use on some easy chairs.

‘Velcro Comfort Sleeves’ will be supplied with each harness to fasten around the Shoulder Straps.

Important:  This harness is not classed as a safety harness.
